The Emergency Nurse is responsible for high quality individualized patient care in the Emergency Department requiring a broad range of knowledge and expertise in the treatment of patients experiencing medical emergencies ranging from low acuity (earaches) to full blown resuscitative encounters (acute stroke, cardiac arrest). Practices within the scope of RN licensure as defined by California Board of Registered Nursing, the Nurse Practice Act and Emergency Nurses Association standards of practice. Advocates for and participates in high quality patient care and patient experience.
The RT is an important member of the patient care team, providing respiratory care, support, and teaching of pediatric and adults patients in the ED, MS, ICU, and PACU. The RT is responsible for helping create and maintain a safe, healing environment for our patients, and a healthy working environment for the entire care team. The RT is expected to perform duties autonomously. The RT reports to the Director of Patient Services.
Provides social services to patients with identified social, behavioral and/or mental-emotional needs in the acute and emergency department settings. Acts as a liaison with community provider agencies to develop care resource networks. Works with the multidisciplinary team to build effective care coordination planning for patients and their families.

Responsible to act as an integral team member and keep patients moving through the unit in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Able to apply critical thinking skills throughput the surgical continuum for each patient under their care. Skilled in post anesthesia recovery care of patient undergoing various types of procedures with different combinations of anesthesia.

The Operating Room RN Circulator plans and performs all nursing care for patients who will undergo surgery and other invasive procedures. They provide nursing care from assessment to outcome evaluation. With this role, the RN Circulator is usually the single advocate for patient safety during operative procedures. The RN Circulator assists the team in creating and maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for the patient and observes the team from a wide perspective to provide safety within the period of the operation.

Performs a variety of procedures to assist in providing laboratory services. Follow established policies and protocols including but not limited to handling and accessioning specimens, entering laboratory information into computer, and instructing patients on specimen collection. Provides clerical and customer service support to laboratory department.
The Speech Therapist administers diagnostic speech, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing evaluations for adult and pediatric populations and provides therapeutic intervention. Prepares timely, complete documentation. Attends interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
Performs a variety of roles to assist in the care of patients in the operating room in accordance with established policies and protocols for surgical technologists.
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients primarily in the hospital physical therapy setting. Provides accurate and timely documentation and coordinates care with other health care professionals. Effectively participates in clinical site education through in-services and clinical education of assigned students.

The Financial Counselor provides assistance to patients with Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) and Charity Care applications; may act as a liaison between the patient and Patient Advocate Vendor to obtain MediCal. Works though patient's financial obligations, both with and without insurance, and provides assistance with payment arrangements. Responsible for the collection and follow-up of accounts with patient liability in accordance with collection guidelines and facilitates the timely receipt of patient liabilities for hospital services. Evaluates incoming patient calls, visits or correspondence and answers questions, resolves issues and assists with payment arrangements for traditional Self-pay and/or patient balance after insurance; prepares accounts for bad debt write off. Provides assistance to vendor on special requests for payment arrangements, settlements offers, and monitors placement Bad Debt accounts. Escalates urgent financial issues to manager as necessary. Manage and monitor patient accounts uploaded to 3rd party vendors and completes billing record requests. Works independently with a moderate level of supervision.

The dietitian works closely with the inpatient and outpatient multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patients/residents care that is integrated and compatible with the patient/resident focused medical goals and objectives.
The cook prepares and serves meals to patients, employees, and visitors using primarily scratch cooking methods. The cook ensures all foods prepared meet existing standards for quality, freshness, taste, texture, consistency and appearance by using standardized recipes and production sheets.
Under the direction of the Medical Director, provides primary patient care, performs medical examinations and compiles medical data. Follows all protocols and provides care within scope of practice. Prepares timely, legible and complete documentation of all patient care as provided by law, regulation and established policy. Communicates and works with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high quality medical treatment and patient service.
