The Emergency Nurse is responsible for high quality individualized patient care in the Emergency Department requiring a broad range of knowledge and expertise in the treatment of patients experiencing medical emergencies ranging from low acuity (earaches) to full blown resuscitative encounters (acute stroke, cardiac arrest). Performs analysis of inpatient and outpatient records to assure their completeness. Assigns physician deficiencies in a timely manner. Monitors incomplete records, provides notification to physicians of delinquencies and performs physician suspension when required. Provides back up for HIM receptionist as needed assisting physician offices and patients with requests. The X Ray/CT Technologist II performs all Radiologic (X-ray and CT) techniques and examinations while obtaining complete, high quality, diagnostic examinations for Radiologists. Administers contrast as prescribed Assists physicians during procedures, adhering to sterile technique guidelines. Monitors and maintains patient safety at all times. Performs routine quality control on x-ray and CT equipment.
