Provides accurate and timely documentation and coordinates care with other health care professionals. Effectively participates in clinical site education through in-services and clinical education of assigned students.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an important member of the patient care team, supporting patients, nurses and also overall unit functioning. The CNA is responsible for helping create and maintain a safe, healing environment for our patients, and a healthy working environment for the care team. The CNA is expected to perform duties autonomously and also at the direction of the RN. The CNA reports to the Director of Patient Services.

Evaluates and treats patients in both the inpatient and outpatient physical therapy setting. Provides accurate and timely documentation and coordinates care with other health care professionals. Will help to develop and prepare monthly productivity and quality reports. Participates in community outreach and serves as a resource in community education.

Administers contrast as prescribed Assists physicians during procedures, adhering to sterile technique guidelines. Monitors and maintains patient safety at all times. Performs routine quality control on x-ray and CT equipment.
